About
Human relationships and complex systems

RelationshipsMatter brings together two worlds that are often treated as separate: human relationships and complex systems. In more than 30 years across software development, leadership, Agile transformation, Scrum and coaching within complex organisational environments, this work has revealed a simple but powerful truth. Even a technically brilliant system can struggle when the relationships within it are unhealthy.
A different question
At the heart of RelationshipsMatter is a different question: “What is happening here, and what could become possible?” This shifts the conversation away from blame and correction and towards curiosity, understanding and choice. Relationship Systems Coaching looks beyond individual behaviour to the patterns of trust, communication, belonging, expectation and connection that shape how people live and work together.
What happens between people
Something happens between people that cannot always be understood by looking at each person separately, whether in a family, couple, team, leadership group or organisation. When these patterns become visible, people can begin to see themselves, one another and the system differently. Awareness creates choice. Choice creates possibility. Possibility creates movement.
Who you would be working with
I am Mimi Scholtz, a relationship and systems coach, Agile coach, facilitator and lifelong learner, bringing together decades of experience in technology and organisational systems with a deep curiosity about human connection, and known as a bridge builder and pioneer. I create spaces where people can slow down, see beneath the surface and discover what they are capable of creating together.
I am certified in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching, known as ORSC.
Why it matters
At its heart is my belief that relationships are not the space around the work. They are the space through which the work happens. Whether the system is a family, couple, team, leadership group or organisation, healthier relationships create greater capacity for connection, creativity, resilience and sustainable change. That is why RelationshipsMatter. Because what happens between us matters.
